    University of Iowa Bipolar Disorder Center of Excellence

    Partners since 2010

    This collaboration was launched as a joint medicine and engineering venture to study bipolar disorder from a donation by Roger Koch. The team later became a Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust Iowa Neuroscience Institute Program of excellence in bipolar disorder and successfully developed several lines of externally funded research.

    Jess Fiedorowicz is the Chair of the Research & Scholarship committee for the Association of Medicine and Psychiatry, promoting research initiatives within the group at the interface of medicine and psychiatry.
